I am a 34 year old stay at home mom to 3 girls ages 9,5 and 20 months. I graduated from Auburn University and spent a little over 6 years in the Air Force. I decided to separate when I was pregnant with our middle girl and knew that I needed to put my priorities in order. So that’s what I do on a daily basis…try to put my priorities in order and maintain my sanity…not always an easy job.
My husband is in the Air Force and we are currently stationed in Shreveport, LA. Not a bad place but I can’t get many of the resources I would like without driving 3 hours….translation:there’s no Ikea and no Whole Foods.
When I’m not doing laundry, cleaning, helping with homework or shuttling tkids to activities, I like to read, scrapbook, cross-stitch, and run. Can’t always do them all, but enjoy them when I can.
I tend to be more liberal than most of my neighbors. I like to think out of the box to solve problems. I think more of us should be willing to swim upstream than to follow the flow. Not just to cause a controversy, but I think a lot people’s actions are not in line with what they say their life philosophy is. I like quick witted, sarcastic humor. Jon Stewart is my hero.
