Jackie wanted to play soccer with the girls from her school last year in a local soccer league. Jason and I thought it would be great for her to interact with girls she is friends with while transitioning to home school. We want her to know that home school is not about being closed in to the house all day every day.
The team was issued their pink jerseys and quickly became the “Pink Dominators”… they are too cute to be taken very serious, but I must say that they have dominated the other teams. At this point in the season, they are undefeated.
Jackie is playing either right or left forward…she likes right forward the best….and she has scored a couple of goals and has had quite a few assists.
Sadly, we don’t know how many more games Jackie will be able to play. She has a knee injury and has been ordered on crutches with an ace bandage for support until we will see the orthopedic doctor this week to do more checks and see what’s going on. Wish us luck!
